| Tenth Sichuan Television Festival ended, with 1.175 billion yuan turnover |
On November 8th, the 2009 (Tenth) Sichuan Television Festival sponsored by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television and Sichuan Provincial People's Government was concluded successfully in Chengdu. The international film and TV program market held at the festival has attracted 1,601 organizations from 27 countries and regions to participate in the program transaction. According to incomplete statistics, during the 3-day program trading, 1,105 units (episodes) of various types of foreign television programs have reached intentional agreements, and 1,501 units (episodes) have been sold overseas, with turnover of 2.13 million US dollars; the trading among domestic television organizations was particularly active, with 8,671 units (episodes) sold and turnover of 1.175 billion yuan, up 87.7% over the previous festival. 銆€
