On November 5th, the municipal government information office held a press conference, briefing to the media about the newly-completed Chengdu E-commerce Planning (2009-2012). According to the Planning, by 2012, the city's e-commerce transaction volume will exceed 300 billion yuan, and its overall competitiveness rank the western first and be in the forefront of the country.
