I. Project Briefing
The project site is situated along the side of picturesque Hotspring Road in Wenjiang District of Chengdu. It is 20km from the Shuangliu International Airport, 10 minutes' drive to Chengdu city proper and adjacent to State Cross-straits Technological Industrial Park and therefore a convenient starting point to famous scenic areas. Just as described in Li Po鈥檚 poem, "From Cancong to Yufu, the founding of the ancient Shu a legend remains", Wenjiang is the very place of the origin of the ancient Yufu Kingdom in over 4000 years ago. Since the reign of emperor Gongdi of Western Wei (555 A.D.), Wenjiang has been a significant political, economic and cultural town. Wenjiang of today has become a garden-like ecological city and received the Excellent Achievement Award for Global Ecological and Environmental Protection from the CCCUN.

Preferential Policies
1. Preferential policies: Please refer to Circular on Policies Regarding Promoting Tourism Industry (Chengdu Gov. Doc. No. 82 [2006])
2. Please refer to other preferential policies of Wenjiang District regarding promoting tourism investment.

III. Feasibility Analysis
The project is developed for recreation and high-profile business meetings. With China's steady and rapid economic growth, the consumption structure of Chinese people is undergoing the shift from subsistence to enjoyment and development of life. Consequently, people's recreational consumption habit is also changing. Chengdu has the fourth largest population among China's cities and indicates broad market prospect for recreational tourism and business meetings.
It is suggested that the project shall highlight spa tourism and concurrently bear the features of health-keeping, leisure and vacation tourism with leisure-and recreation-motivated consumers and high-profile business meeting participants as the major target group. Corresponding feature facilities for this group shall be furnished so as to enable these consumers to return to nature and enjoy life.
